Why is my aircon leaking/ making noise/ no cold air?
Aircon Leaking
Typically, water condenses on the inner fan coil and is drained through the drainage pipe. If the pipe is blocked, water is trapped, causing it to leak.
Aircon Noises
The blower or inner fan coil of the air-conditioner may be dirty, causing vibration noises. Other reasons may include loose or defective components.
Aircon Not Blowing Cold Air
Reasons include: Dirty air filter/ Blockage of inner unit/ Defective components/ Temperature set too high
Why does my aircon have a bad smell/ switches on and off on its own/ have blinking lights?
Aircon Bad Smell
Environmental causes such as the smells of cigarettes may be taken in by the unit. Such smells are released along with the airflow. It is best to consult our specialists when such situations happen.
Aircon Switches On & Off on its own
It could be due to a defective electronic circuit board which operates the fan coil unit.
Aircon Blinking Lights
This is the air-conditioner’s signal to you that it is defective. It is best to consult our specialists for further assistance.
What is the optimal air-conditioner temperature to be set?
Generally, 25-26 °C is optimum. A mere 1°C increase can raise your operating costs up by 15%.
How do I calculate the cooling capacity of an air-conditioner for a given area?
For a rough estimate, multiply the given area by 70.
Cooling Capacity (BTU/Hr) = Area (Length in feet x Width in feet) x 70
